By India Today Web Desk: Rohit Sharma set a new Indian record on Friday, February 10 by becoming the first captain from the country to hit a hundred across all 3 formats in international cricket. Rohit achieved the feat when he scored his first century as Test captain on Day 2 of the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia in Nagpur.
Rohit Sharma is also only the 4th captain overall in international cricket to achieve the feat after South Africa’s Faf du Plessis, Sri Lanka’s Tilalkaratne Dilshan and Pakistan’s Babar Azam.

Rohit Sharma got to his hundred on Day 2 of the first Test in 171 deliveries as he led India’s charge against Australia, who had managed just 177 after opting to bat on the opening day.
it was also Rohit’s first Test hundred against Australia as he became the 10th captain from the country to hit a Test hundred against the Aussies.
