India will be taking on Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, starting February 9. Ahead of the series, Ravi Ashwin has shared a hilarious meme on his own bowling.

By India Today Web Desk: India spinner Ravi Ashwin will be one of the threats to the Australian team in the four-match Test series, set to start on February 9. The off spinner has a variety of weapons in his arsenal, which he can unleash in the turning tracks of India creating big issues for the Australian line-up, that has several left-handers in the side.
Ahead of the series, Ashwin shared a hilarious post, which had his player profile page’s screenshot attached to it. The screenshot suggested a cricket publication did not know what Ashwin’s bowling style was and had marked it as – right arm off-spin?/right arm leg-spin.
The player shared the same and wrote on Twitter that he woke up with his on Sunday, 5 February.
“My morning coffee came with this and I wonder who has done this,” Ashwin wrote.
India are expected to play three spinners in the first match of the series which will be played in Nagpur. Ashwin will be leading the line-up, possibly alongside Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja. In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah in the fast bowling line-up, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami are expected to be the starters in Nagpur Test match.
India will have to win the Test series if they want to qualify for the World Test Championship. Australia are already primed to play the final, after a sensational run since the Ashes 2021/22. The team has already spoken about the challenges posed by the Indian spinners, and how they are looking out for the slide spin deliveries exploited by the Indian spinners with the new ball.
